uploading files
Not sure which forum to post this in so pelase move if you know a better one. I want to add files to my web hosting (video's to be downloaded then played not streamed) the files will be about 2-300 meg but my web host says this
FTP uploads are limited to 100MB per file. If you really need to use a larger file than this in your web space, you will need to split it into chunks and reassemble them after uploading them separately. therefore, how can i achieve this in one file, or indeed reconnect them?? |

Re: uploading files
I'm confused....
If you split them up, you want a way to play them as one file on the server? |

Re: uploading files
When uploading a file to my website, a gaming video clip that is around 200meg, for people to download, it fails when uploading at 100meg, i went on my webhost and read their help and found that they dont allow uplaods of over 100meg. Like it says above, I have to reasssemble them when uploaded, how is this done on a AVI file for example?

Re: uploading files
I don't think you can put two files back together on a webserver.
