Whats in a name?

I have been driving myself mad over what name to launch my new company under and could use some opinions...

Sellsis or Appealsoft

The focus of the site will be on custom ecommerce solutions and development. Neither of the names have a particular meaning but I have been leaning towards Sellsis. I just can not make up my mind.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

Re: Whats in a name?

Honestly, I can't see what either name has to do with E-commerce solutions and development. I personally, prefer website names that will at least give me an idea what they do. For example...webforumz.....forums that deal with things on or about the web.....design and development of sites or Elsewherebooks.com...an online bookstore site. (in this case they have a brick and morter store that is Elsewhere Books) This is my own personal opionion.

Thats what I think but the wife keeps telling me that Appealsoft.com is better. She has a point when it comes to pronunciation. Saying "sellsis" out loud could be interpreted as "sellsys".

I agree but try fining a domain name that is short, easy to remember and has the word commerce in it...

Sellsis, evolved from "Selling System Integration Specialists"

I have no idea where appealsoft.com came from...

Re: Whats in a name?

I LOVE the naming game!
Neither of those names makes much sense to me either. However if you were set on one of those, I'd probably pick Sellsis...

Other's that are available
ecom-appeal.com
appeal-ecom.com
appealecom.com
appeal-e.com
appealecommerce.com (first choice)

Keep us posted on what you select!!

Re: Whats in a name?

Sellsis sounds like your selling your sister

I agree with Linda, appealecommerce.com sounds better.

Re: Whats in a name?

I may have to create a new company.

APPLE SOURCE (see what I did there!)

It won't actually be any more than a white page with apple source written on it!
