Re: a few errors

Is thgis a CSS menu? If it is you should be able to adjust the z-index of teh drop down.

Make that a higher z-index than all of the content so give it something like z-index: 100;

It works fine in IE but not in FF

Re: a few errors

the menu is a spry meun bar so is java but styled by css. so z-index didnt work. any other reasons it would be displaying behind the below div. still cant get my footer to stay at the bottom of the page on IE either .

Re: a few errors

It might be worth looking at the soruce code of this site and cgrabbing the css and see how the menu works

http://www.cssplay.co.uk/menus/final_pullup.html

And I have a book on CSS which puts the footer at the bottom of the page so i'll dig it out and see if i can get the code for the footer

Re: a few errors

I don't know if this will help you but you could try

Code: Select all

#footer {
   position: absolute;
   bottom: 0;
   width: 100%;
   .../any other properties such as BG color
}
