Re: planning a mobile web site

Are you talking about a normal web site about phones or a website built for phones? As in viewing them via a mobile phone handset?

Re: planning a mobile web site

website built for phones.

as a part of the 3rd generation of cellphones they all got a great support to make a normal website to fit in into your mobile. but most of the websites looking bad on the mobile because of the mobile screen size which is, i don't know, like 2 inch.. so you need to do some thinking before you design that kind of a mob-website.

i know only a reduced number of sites that the most active site among them is the provider site that takes money on every 'pips' that your doin' ...

i'm planning a free and very useful mobile portal. it is not that harder to do than a normal website except the fact that you need a comfortable and a pleasant "mob-site".

got it?

haha so true.
at first when i heard people surfing on mobile phone just to see what their friends wrote them on some forum i thought omg they are too addicted to that forum that they are surfing from other places which is not boring like your home but than i got a situation like waiting for a train and now i think that this is a hall of idea that if i can get the right design and make users to brows the same browser, let say opera mini. everyone that will get stock to the next train will get raid on my mob-site. don't you think so?

it can't get worst than icq\msn on the mobile...

i guess i'll see the next reply just in the next 2-3 weeks thou
bb & 10x for the for your comment
my vision is still waiting for his implemintation

Re: planning a mobile web site

Personally I think that designing for WAP is hard.
Too little and it looks horrible, too much and it won't load!
