[SOLVED] weird question marks....
Hi. I am the administrator of http://www.aforattitude.com and the lady that I do this website for has sent me an email saying some of the elemnts on the front page are appearing just as question marks as in the attached image. Nothing about this page has changed since the problem started and it views perfectly correctly at my end.
Do you think this is just a problem with her computer? She has a apple mac and this has always given us troubles (file formats she sends me and certain other things) Do you think you guys could go to this website and see if you are viewing it correctly, and not like the attached image? Any help appreciated. Thanks |

Re: [SOLVED] weird question marks....
Sometimes when you get documents or even e-mails from other people it's best to cut and paste into a text editor so the text is converted into plain text. Sometimes non-visible characters or code will be embeded in the documents or e-mail itself if they use html or rich text e-mail.
I have a lot of customers who think they are saving me time by "prettying up" the text but in reality it cause me more work. Thankfully they are some good text editors out there that do this stuff quickly. I use Textmate on my Mac and I love it. |
