Re: Web Design Unit - Re-design

I simply i dont like it. From a web designer i expect alot more - this website doesnt offer this. Also the navigation isnt on all pages...

Your website is inconsistant, uses frames and inline css.

Overall: 3/10.

What's with the Walt Disney font on your logo?

Re: Web Design Unit - Re-design

I agree with MikeH! The Walt Disney font has to go because it's so widely recognized! Everyone knows that "W" and the small "i" with the circle over it!

I love your use of color. It's really eye catching and fun.

The repetitive flash and the restart of flash on every page is so old fashion and such a turn off!
I also think this site looks too much like a purchased template. It's lacking freshness in it's design.

The webhosting page text doesn't match the style or size font of the services or home page. Consistency is important.

Coding is not good . Looks like Dreamweaver was used in design view.

Hope this helps!

Re: Web Design Unit - Re-design

This isn't really a re-design is it? You're still using the flash that came with the template you bought - only you've stretched it out and ruined the quality of it. (This site uses the same template which you used originally: http://www.stickydigital.com/). Also, you've kept the exact same footer. The only thing I can see that you've changed is the bit with the content in, and the background colour.

I suggest you actually re-design this completely before you call it a re-design.

You're supposed to be a web design company. Using templates is not web design. I wouldn't go anywhere near your company.

Re: Web Design Unit - Re-design

Stealing people design is VERY bad ... especially if you call yourself a designer!

Do yourself a favor and ditch the design design before someone tells Sticky Digital!

HA! Good catch Emzi! I knew it had to be a template but I couldn't figure out how to prove it.
This is a blatant attempt to spam us in my opinion!
The original poster has not come back since posting and most likely will not be back!

Well, this person had posted before : http://www.webforumz.com/free-web-si...esign-unit.htm and someone pointed out on there that their layout was a template and posted 3 other sites using the exact same template.

Not only that, but the sites in their portfolio (sites they've "designed"), are also templates.
