[SOLVED] HELP!!! - Image Issue

Hi

This is my first post to this forum so i hope everyone is well, and hope you can help me with an image/design issue in CSS.

I am creating a new site (My first CSS site) i have come up with the design in illustrator and now i am in the process of turning it into a CSS Creation.

I have one issue. The image i am using as the header image, i want this image to bleed into the content of the web design. But i have no idea how to do it.

I tried another forum but i was unable to post a screenshot to explain what i meant so i am hoping i can here in order to resolve my issue.

the link to the layout image is http://www.sixstringworld.com/layout.jpg

As you will note the image bleeds into the content, HOW DO I CREATE THIS EFFECT USING CSS?????

Any help would massive and could help me no end.

Cheers in advance

Dan

Re: HELP!!! - Image Issue

Hi AdRock

Thanks for the link to the page of transparency. I was thinking the same as you. I new transparency would have to be used. I just wasnt sure on how i would place it in my design. As you can see from my link i want it centered and in the header div which then bleeds into the content div.

I will see if anybody else has an idea but will also give it a go using the related link you sent through.

Cheers

Dan

Re: HELP!!! - Image Issue

Hi AdRock

Yeah thanks, i was being a retard. I will make the whole of the content box transparent as the background will be black anyway, and i will position my image at the top of the transparent image.

thanks for your help. when i have completed the site i will forward to you the link so that you can see it in all its glory.

Thanks

Dan
