logo review

could you please critique my logo.

Hey.. was the typo deliberate? Professional is the usual spelling.

If I was being critical then I'd say the name doesn't fit with the logo. The word "maniac" suggests something with a little more enthusiasm, whereas your design is clean and concise. More clinical than fanatical.

I like of the look of it though!

The GIMP 2.4 RC3 (GIMP 2.2 is the latest stable version) and to make the circle thing, its kinda took awhile for me to figure this out sense gimp is not as good as photoshop. but ill do my best to tell you. i made a transparent layer then i took the circle selection tool and made the shape of circle i wanted. then filled it with a color. then make a slightly smaller circle on top of that layer. fill it with white. then tilt that circle jsut slightly. then click alpha to selection and delete that layer. then with the selection still active take a big eraser and eraser every thing in the selection. then u have your basic circle.

What I like about it, is that it can be incorporated into a design quite easily.

I really like it. It's nice and simple but thanks to some well chosen fonts it still has a little 'edge' which stops it from being dull.
