New Flash Game

its a 2 player game where both players will use the same keyboard. Here are the controls... let me know what you think.

How come you can't fly and kick at the same time? Nice one..

ok great, im glad everyone likes it. THere are a lot of bugs to work out, but I am done for tonight, its 2:30 AM over here, my room mate is sleeping, and im hungry so im going to eat some canned tangerines and then go to sleep.

I just uploaded the latest version which includes:

menu interface with controls and instructions
tally point system for each player
3..2...1...fight! thing
revive button
other bug fixes

I lost my blue man he fell off the edge of the game

Fixed that problem... now there is a ground below the platform and when you hit it, you die. Stay on the platform. Also, there is an energy bar and when it runs out, you can no longer fly.

LOL!



That game was fun! it seems I can only punch the enemy though (E), R + T don't seem to do anything ha.
I would suggest programming some AI, to make it a single player game..
but I'm sure that would take ages!

This is awesome, I was seriously impressed. Fun little game, had to play alone though .

thanks guys. There is an issue with the kick of each player and it not doing anything. It's supposed to do damage if the rightleg of one player hitTest the torso of the other player, but having some problems with that. AI would be cool, and I think I am going to start designing it. What do you think of the music?

Put some proper rave in there ha!
Like adrenaline pumping stuff!

kicking problem fixed... now you can successfully kick your opponent. Also, longer arms for greater hit radius. And, I am having my friend create a rave song.

This is great work, not the design of course, but the actual game. Nice work, I am impressed. Now go make it look more real, then see if you can sell it...haha.

thanks, this game is definately going to be improved graphics-wise. You will be able to select different characters, levels, etc.... i am doing all this for a project for my interactive entertainment class where we have to design a game in flash.

Perhaps even have the user play the computer?

yeah, AI is a different story. I mean it is so complicated and that will probably be the last the I will do.

im taking this in a new direction... i am going to create an interface where you upload an image of yourself to the flash game, use a tool to select the different body parts, and then the body parts will be put into the game as the body parts of the fighter, so you can turn yourself into a fighter! imagine that!
