PowerPoint Question

Hi, not sure if this is the right board as this is my first post.

I've used Powerpoint to design a presentation, just one slide. I saved it as JPEG. The fonts on the presentation are a mixture of Bold and Plain. Now, when I load the picture into Word or an e-mail all the text in the presentation is bold. I have done this before and it was fine, picture loaded up in Word exactly how it looked when I designed it. I needed to make slight changes to the Presentation and then saved it as JPEG as I did before but as I said above all the text is showing up as bold when loaded into Word.

Any help will be much appreciated

Re: PowerPoint Question

I'm not... I'm designing the presentation then saving as .pps (to preserve original design) and .jpeg and then loading the .jpeg one into Word

Re: PowerPoint Question

I know .jpeg is an image but how do I get the image that I'm loading into Word or E-mail to look exactly like the .pps format?

Re: PowerPoint Question

saved it as.bmp and it's still not showing exactly as designed.

I've done it before but can't remember how I did it. Do I load the .pps file into word then convert it?

Re: PowerPoint Question

When I first did it I saved it as .JPEG and it loaded into Word fine, I did this a few months ago. The original file that loads into Word fine is .JPEG format so I don't understand why my new edited presentation that I also saved as .JPEG won't show up exactly the same.

Re: PowerPoint Question

so, Let me get this right, you have a PP doc that you want to take and put into word?

Do you want to edit it once it is in word, or will you edit in PP and do the same process again?

If the later, then I suggest you start playing the PP presentation and then take a screen shot and place that into word.

If the former, then have you tried saving it as a rich text document (rft) ?

Open the PPs, press PrintScreen and open word and Paste. Then crop to suit needs.
