Hello There, i hope you can help me,

I am trying to install a forum, i have PHPBB and uploaded all the necessary files.
It wont let me install it as it says "Please note, the database that you install into should already exist"

First of all does your host handle php and mysql?

If so you need to go into phpmyadmin and create a database in there.

There are much sites were you can get a free phpBB Forum (with a bit advertisment). Only one dutch forum (which I use) is without advertisment. Check out www.xsbb.nl. Otherwise, google around and you will find plenty of forums. It's only a idea.

Does your host provide cPanel? There's a chance you can type http://www.yourdomainname.com/cpanel/ to find out...
