centering my content in IE (yet another problem)
ok. heres my problem...
i made this website ... HERE ... and the css i used centers the content in all the browsers i've looked at it in. now i'm trying another one. i used IDENTICAL code so far as i can see but IE cocks it up, take a look. here is the css. why on earth can IE make the first layout work but not this one!?!?! have i missed something really obvious, is it one of those silly mistakes that you never spot yourself? |

hmmm, well that does work. however i didnt have to do that with the first site i mentioned. i cant understand why that one works but this one doesn't.

Is it the same versions of IE not IE6 and IE7? |

lol, no, both in IE7, in different tabs!! i really cant understand how they get away with bundling such a poor excuse for a browser with their OS!! every other browser can manage to show stuff properly!!

Having the margin: 0 auto; in the html as well as body is throwing it off.
Instead just have

lol. now your comment makes perfect sense. however IE clearly doesnt think so!!
i'm so confused!! thanks for your help addition: i've copied the actual file that worked (before i'd only copied the entire code from one file to the other) and it seems to work fine!! well i guess this mystery IE has thrown at us will never truely be solved!! lol. once again thanks for all your help.
