It would seem I am stuck...

I thought I would point out a funny observation.

About three weeks ago I ended up on this forum after searching for some help with CSS. I found the answer I was looking for and didn't even have to ask.

I joined the site and answered a couple of javascript and PHP questions and the rest is history.

I now have over 100 (counted) posts, have put my website up for critique and entered a site I built in the WOTM competition.

I ask, is helping people an addiction because it would seem I keep coming back here looking for ways I can pass on my knowledge.

Kudos to webforumz I would say.

Yes, i am the same... I was struggling with TABLES and so i posted it up. Karinne said to me Why are you using tables, this design can be achieved easily with CSS. From that day, i never looked back and now i enjoy helping people with thier problems on the forums as they might come to help me someday too.. Webforumz = 20/10!

:lolsmily You forgot something Rakuli... you even wrote us and unbelievable tutorial for October's Newsletter!

I'd say we set the bait, and "hooked" you! Jacob we don't want to let this fish get away!!!

And yes, it is addicting! And there is no self-help program for it!

LOL, I didn't mention the tutorial as it is my first ever and not sure of the quality..

I have found a patch -- fixing my own site -- but I lack the willpower to stay off wenforumz :S

Re: It would seem I am stuck...

Ya, I googled and Webforumz came up. I peeked in, read some of the Rob and Jacob show posts against copycat forums and registered. Should have turned away and slammed the door....ok, I admit.....I am a webforumz addict and can't survive without my daily fix. Please, anyone, stop me before I start sounding like Jacob.....help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for your sympathy through this my most difficult of times. With more support such as this I may beat my addiction.

But I don't have a problem

Re: It would seem I am stuck...

Rakuli has helped me with some JavaScript and PHP issues I had...thanks dude

As to say it is an addiction, I go through all the posts looking to see if I can help all the time but usually other members beat me to it.....you get a warm, fuzzy feeling when you can help sort out someone's problem.
