photoshop neon text
hey everyone
i just figured out how to make cool text in photoshop that looks as if there is a neon light behind it, i couldn't find a tutorial place here so just decided to post it as a thread... Firstly: write your text: Untitled-1.jpg select the text layer, open the "layers" window (F7) Untitled-2.jpg select the little "f" on the bottom of the window, select Drop Shadow Untitled-3.jpg do the following options: Blend Mode: Normal Distance: 0 Adjust Size and Spread till you get the result you are aiming at Choose the color you like and wala !! Untitled-4.jpg this is my first tutorial yet, i hope someone finds it useful !

Not to rain on your parade
 but you could also just make the text black and use the outer glow style.outer-glow.jpg

Photoshop is GREAT !!! you'll love it !! you can do so many stuff with it !i saw your website and its nice... with Photoshop you could turn it into a freakin rockin one !! :w00t2:
