failed to call function mysql_query :S
i googled this and tried what it said to do and nothing worked grrrr

yeah,
it says undefined function as though it doesn't know the mysql_query command. in php.ini mysql extension is enabled

That's really strange becuase I took that straight out of the Windows directory and I am using localhost now with a connection to my database and it works fine

could you perhaps send me your mysql dll aswell? in case is somehow got corrupted

okay i ran the php.exe file and it said the mysql and mysqli dll files could not be found.
but they are there. i can see them :s
