Re: Is there a way to change the colour scheme?

we dont have anybody doing new skins...what would you like too see?

obv, we keep the blue for the webforumz logo...but maybe we could go radical and make a new skin or somthing....whatever the general consensus....

what is it about this scheme you dont like?

Re: Is there a way to change the colour scheme?

Its actually due to the changing to vBulletin - we used to use Snitz Forumz which had a cleaner interface, but this okay though.

We can use vbulletin to acheive a superb interface. For instance, this website http://forums.aliensoup.com/ is very asthetically pleasing

What I don't like is the lack of contrast.... and the "plainness" of the scheme... It is actually a default colour scheme in vBulletin, I believe...

If you guys decide on skins, I will be very glad to give my 100% to help with the graphic design and ideas for colours. Its useless just sitting here and whining and not doing anything about it.

My feeling is that there should be contrast of colours, and warmer shades. This site is all dark-shade blue, grey and white... little contrast..

PS : But if its too troublesome, then drop the idea. Cause it improves when I increase brightness of my monitor

weve switched forums software twice since those days. VB is just a much better forum package.

this is mainly because we worked hard to get the sortware up in a short space of time. if you still think we should have some skins in, add me to msn, as i dont think your alone in your thinking. (i would like to see a nice range of them) - and well see what we can do..

Re: Is there a way to change the colour scheme?

hey GWX!!!

Aint seen you around for AGES!!! you bin hiding?

Actually, I'm not totally sure the present skin is default.... if it is, it has been varied slightly if my 'mess wiv the settings' head serves me correctly. We decided on this scheme purely because it was so close to our old phpBB skin, not to mention fitted in with our logo.

I'm very happy to look at other skin ideas.

Glad to have you back GWX.

Ye a choose your own skin under the cpanel would be nice, so people can customise how they want to view the site.
