Photoshop problem (BIG!)

Hi there, I'm using an Asus 6k laptop. Everything works fine, aart from one program, Adobe Photoshop. I have the CS2 version. All the specs on my computer should easily be able to cope with this program.

Installation went fine, but everytime I try to open it, the program window freezes and refuses to shutdown.

Anybody else ever have a similar problem, and more importantly, any ideas how to fix it?

Thanks

yea, talk to Adobe... the only reason you wouldn't be able to talk to Adobe is if it was an illegal copy, and then u cant expect it to work properly anyway!

Re: Photoshop problem (BIG!)

Okay, so it might not be completely legit, but it works perfectly on my desktop PC, so I'm thinking its a problem with my laptop.

Any other ideas?

Re: Photoshop problem (BIG!)

I don't know what the problem is. I would have to see your computer to make a guess. But I would highly think about getting a legal version of adobe. You can get an educational version because you are a student. The educational version is the same as the pro just cheaper. Think about it.
