Re: OS Commerce

I have used it but it has been a while. Its a solid system a pain to customize though.

Re: OS Commerce

Yeah, it is a good thing, but as you rightly stated it is a pain to change around!

I have used it before, but was a long while ago, and now when I went back to it, forgot how to do most stuff.

Anyone else used it?

Re: OS Commerce

not really, ive messed around with it for the people i work for on and off.

The first major thing i've worked on (with a friend of mine who is a member here also) is www.tyrefinders.co.uk

we have a couple of little problems to fix on it but thats cause we are getting used to how different osCMax is to osCommerce but its 90-95% finished.

Re: OS Commerce

yeah same as me, i had VERY limited knowledge of PHP and MySQL but now i have not so very limited knowledge.

We are having problems porting a module made for osCommerce into osCMax. thats whats slowed us up. one thats done we will be practically finished.

Re: OS Commerce

www.oscmax.com

Its not an add-on, You install this instead of osCommerce

its osCommerce but its been taken by a community and made better it seems. easier to edit the look - just have to change 2 files (one is the .css file) and the whole site looks different.

it also comes with some useful modules already installed.

have a look on there web-site they have a full list of features and in the forum is a link to a live demo site.

Re: OS Commerce

sorry to disappoint you but the welsh in my name is actually my name, Kevin Welsh

I do however love the welsh, i lived there for 5 years while doing my degree and working. moved away 2 months ago just before i cycled from john o groats to lands end, I made sure i went via wales on the trip.
