I need help with slices :(

Hello, I was wondering if you could help me with slices, iv just finished my website in photoshop and I am slicing it up. Is there anyway I can rotate the slices like how my buttons are to make it more neater?
(see the attached picture)
Also is there anyway to create slices and when ppl click on a link, the dotted outline wont appear around it? It really annoys me.

Anyway, please help.

Thanks.
Tracey.

Re: I need help with slices :(

You can only slice in straight lines unfortunately. Vertical or horizontal lines.

Also the dotted lines around links is a browser issue you are also stuck with.

Trayc,

You can remove those dotted lines around links.
Code: Select all
a:active {outline: none;}

I would totally advise against this ... for accessibility's sake.

Re: I need help with slices :(

When navigating on a site without a mouse, those dotted borders are there to show where you're at ... what link you have landed on.

If you remove them ... well ... you can figure out what a problem that is

Re: I need help with slices :(

what did you use to build the image?
if you have the layers still you might be able to copy and paste them into a blank doc

I would agree... there are major accessibility issues with doing that. The reason I shared the solution though, is because it does exist, even if I wouldn't recommend it.
