MySQL

Hi

I am working on an online store with 10,000 products I have them currently in an excel file. It would be great if someone could help me upload this file to a mysql database on my site host. I have tried to upload a text file to phpmyAdmin but it gives an error. Do I need to convert to mysql before I upload and is there software to do this?

Thanks

Chris
