Actually, you'd be surprised. If they don't want to deal with junk hosting or deal with forced advertisements, my offer is very lucrative and a viable option.

If they can wait 6-8 weeks for us to verify their hosting status and pay the rebate, they still get free hosting for a year.

most people go to a free host cos they don't have the money to pay for hosting,
so if i needed a free host, I'd find one that requires no money.

You get what you pay for... You've said you don't want to do anything serious with it so what does the reliability matter?

If you really are that short of funds (you can't be if you ski) then host the site on your desktop.... I'm assuming you have ADSL or Cable internet?

Seriously though, you will be hard pushed to find a FREE host that will give you a decent service with nothing in return i.e Banners etc....
