Positioning of Thumbnails
Hey Guyz/Gals,
Im looking to position the thumbnails on the page below, in the centre of the page and not the left like they are now !! Any ideas ??? Im also looking to number the pics as they are steps in a martial arrts technique, is there an easy way of doing this while keeping the look of the first set of pics. http://www.metcoverart.com/lescima/techniques.php Basically Im looking to put the 3rd set of pics, in a 3top/3 bottom, instead of 1 after the other. I would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks |

Re: Positioning of Thumbnails
As for numbering them why not just add a circle and a number onto each image? |

Re: Positioning of Thumbnails
Guyz,
Thanks for all the help, but Im still having problems. The <div align="center"> code doesn't change anything. Currently the div CSS uses the float: left; property to align the images horizontally. Before that, they all aligned vertically. What they have to be aligned like is this: All images aligned horizontally, centered on the page. Any help would be greatly appreciated |

<div id="center"> Which has a float: left; property in order to align the JavaScript thumbnails horizontally (otherwise they align vertically, it's weird). What I'm trying to get is all the JavaScript thumbnails aligned horizontally, centered on the page. |

Re: Positioning of Thumbnails
Muneepennee,
We have warned you several times regarding your use of the english language here. We know you are very capable of proper communication and are obviously pretty intelligent when it comes down to web design / development. The fact is, ALL your posts take 3 times the effort of a normal post to understand (the one above is pretty mild in comparison to some which are excruciating!!)..... your crucifiction of the english language is not professional, it doesnt help your own reputation (you've been banned at other forums too..) and simply speaking, I will tolerate anymore. As you have ignored all warnings via private messages, I am making this last ditch official public warning in this thread (sorry C0ld40rm for hijacking your thread) Further purposeful slaughtering of the english language will no longer be tolerated here and a further occurence will result in a LIFETIME ban. You have been warned!

Re: Positioning of Thumbnails
Ok, dumb question. I haven't looked at the page or the code. But have you thought of positioning them absolutely? Or maybe even nesting them in a table may give you control?

Re: Positioning of Thumbnails
It looks like you solved your problem. The page looks nice. My one suggestion would be to make the main pictures larger, at least 500px wide.
If you want to number the photo, assuming you have a graphics program, a simple but somewhat tedious way would be to extend the size of the graphic wherever you want the number, and add a layer with the number on it. On the plus side, it would give you a lot of control over the appearance of the number and background. |
