Re: Looking for a new host...

Isnt it funny that not one person has actually asked what type of hosting this person is looking for?

The first thing you need to do when working with any customer is to establish what there needs are

Only payment method available is Paypal?

That might indicate they dont even have a merchant account with there own bank/or are not big enough to even have a merchant account? (Dont get me wrong, not saying they are a bad company as I dont know them, but just basing opinions on first impressions)

I'm always a bit wary of companies who only accept paypal only...

Also, why would an american company run a .co.uk website and charge in £ ?? That bit doesnt seem logical

Re: Looking for a new host...

Yeah, Richard is correct about that one. Seems a little odd. Here is something that might help you when picking out a host. I am not recommend this company, just saying they do have some excellent tips.

Funny you should say that about paypal, its has 10x more fraud than credit/debit cards, simply due to phising, password cracking etc.

Paypal is far from secure simply due to the fact that its only an email address and password to access funds from your bank, and how many times do you see people using family names etc.

Anyway, I dont want to drive this thread off topic even more, but speak to your bank about a merchant account, then possibly go to Protx.com for a payment gateway.
