.swf file unreadable
hi,can any1 explain to me why ppl cant open my .swf files after i sent it to them? they have flash player installed..

you might want to include it in an attachment or upload it to the web.

i just sent the file with hotmail to a friend..or i sent it on messenger (I would not recommend that lol) Both ways they couldnt open the .swf when they got it..I can open it alright on my computer..

yes, i heard what u said but my english isnt that good (probably better than ur dutch though) so i've tried to send it in an attachment on here but then a weird thing happened firefox shut down adn all my received files are missing..(the .swf file was in there) grrr

could you try using a different browser?
we can't really help if you if we can't see the file.

hey...i know what the prob is..i need to publish the thing and send the html and let the viewer open them in the browser..i just sent the .swf earlier.. thnax for ur help!

Yep, unless someone actually has the FLASH APPLICATION installed on their computer sending just the .swf won't work. If they have just the FLASH PLAYER you need to attach the HTML file and they need to access it that way.
