Hi guys,
I'm designing a website for a mate and I remember a while back when I had a go with Dreamweaver, if I were to design it on my computer using 1024x768 resoltuion, once on the net if someone with a different resolution viewed it, it was either too small or too big (obviously depending on which resolution they were running). Now are there any templates that I can use that will automatically readjust everything to fit their chosen resolution? Much appreciated. Cheers |

Re: Newbie needing template
The solution is actually in your code. If you want a fluid site meaning it expands depending on the width of the users' screen res, then you need to use % as units for your widths.
If you are going for a fixed site, then the total width of the site should go over 800px. |

Re: Newbie needing template
Look in the beginners resources section, there's a sticky there about HTML and CSS layouts. In there, there's a "how" section where you can find some example layouts.
