what is isset

I have come along it many times but I dont know what it does

It means if the variable $test has a value or "is set" (isset)...then do whatever is in the curly braces!

yea a ! means not so..


if(!isset($number))   {
}

means if the variable $number is not set...


if($number != 2)  {
}

means if the variable $number is not equal to 2

etc
