Cool Flash and Google what's the answer?

My site has a unique problem. My name is the same as a famous actor/director, as a result when you search for my site hundreds of Christopher Guest sites come up...but before I worry about that, here's my problem:

If you go to Google, select "Sites from Canada", and type in "christopherguest" my site will come up second. But there will be no information under the listing. How do I pass that info to Google?

In meta tags. What do you currently have by way of meta info?

Ahh...none I guess. Does flash handle that or do I have to edit the html page?

Ok, so I've got some meta info going on...I used "author" and "keywords". What type of meta info does google look at?

Re: Flash and Google what's the answer?

I've had meta data for about a week now and still Google doesn't have an info on my site ( www.christopherguest.ca ). Should my meta data be in the XML sitemap? Or do I just have to wait for the crawlers?

It can take a long time for Google to grab it. It's definately not an instantaneous event...

Give it some time...they'll pick it up sooner or later

The meta info you need for sure is description.

If your site is indexed in google (easiest way is incoming links) then it will take from a few days to a few weeks for it to update your page info.
