Re: IE6 page shifting down the screen
hee hee ... tres annoying indeed.
IE 6 isn't liking your leftborder, rightborder having a height of 781px I believe. Now with that said, I'm not sure how to fix it! I'm struggling to figure out what those are and how we can alter it to make it work. |

Re: IE6 page shifting down the screen
Any alternate suggestions on how one might use a gradient border?
*EDIT I've gone for transparent gif background image that stretches across the screen and has the borders on each side. Hopefully done the trick. Last edited by konnor5092; Aug 1st, 2007 at 21:30. |

Re: IE6 page shifting down the screen
Why thankyou.
The plan is to work/sell with a professional developer until my skills are up to par. Then I intend to nick his business |

Re: IE6 page shifting down the screen
Aren't you the same guy who posted a while back saying you weren't sure if you had the artistic ability to go into web design? You are complete in your awesomeness. I would marry (or perhaps just your designs?) you if it weren't... well... it wouldn't be appropriate, would it.
Brilliant design, mate, you certainly do have the artistic ability. In your 'about' section just put that you are awesome, should cover everything. Pete. |

Re: IE6 page shifting down the screen
I was unsure yes, mainly because I have no art qualifications and can't draw. Fortunately it seems web design is often about the arrangement of graphics and lots of trial and error, which I'm more suited to.
Perhaps we should develop our friendship first before we consider marriage....... |
