Otter Lake Cottagers' Association

I have an issue with this site regarding the statcounter that my client requested be used on the website (yes, I know how statcounters are considered quite passe)...namely that it doesn't validate. If anyone knows a standards compliant statcounter, I'd be glad to hear about it. I'd also like to hear your critique on this site as well. Thanks!

Overall I like it. I think the homepage could be made a bit more visually wow. Otter Lake looks to be such a beautiful place, it should be showed off more right away. The background image that you have with the content might work well as a background in the header as the header is a bit plain. Then maybe include a big dramatic picture of the lake on the page. I find the font on the top nav a bit big too, kind of overpowers other things on there.

Your code error is due to the unencoded ampersand:

The site looks good I think it would look better centred on the page (almost all sites do). Apply margin: 0 auto; to your main page container (I think this is div.wrapper).
