How to make a CSS Dropdown menu?
I want to replace the JS menu on my site with a pure CSS menu. To be more specific, a tutorial on how to make my own; so i can figure out how to do the syntax for stuff like ".menu a:hover div{display:block;}" (i know it's wrong, that's why i want to learn it myself).
So just explaining how to put it together for doing the code mentioned above properly would do wonders. |

Re: How to make a CSS Dropdown menu?
A hack-free CSS-only DD is not possible at the moment.
There's some good explanation for the DD with JS over at HTMLDog and at Alistapart. There's a bunch of DD menus without JS over at CSSPlay. |

The probelm is ie. They work fine in FF though. The suckerfish drop downs only require minimal JS and are one of the best solutions.
