Hmmm ... did you steel Google's layout or something?!

With everything looking the same it's hard to tell the google ads from the actual content of the site.

This site looks like it was done for the Win95 era ... there's nothing "flashy" or "WOW" about it. There's nothing visual to keep me interested enough to stay there.

You might want to get inspired by your competition:

Let's see...neither CSS or HTML validates. Most if not all of the links will come up using Dogpile search. What do you have to offer that would make me want to come to your site? The idea of web design is once the user is there, they have a reason to stay and look around....You may want to rethink what it is you want to do with that site.

These sites frustrate me. I don't get them, they are too busy, they seem like shady sites...

I don't get it. What's the service? The product? I just see ads and what isn't an ad must look like one cos I can't tell the difference. First take a look at cleaning up the site, think about what you want to achieve. If you really want to improve this site, and I assume you do as you posted here, then strip the ads out and build your site first without them. Maybe leave a few blank spaces for placing them in afterwards. You need to attract visitors, they aren't going to go past the home page if they don't know what the site is for.

Re-evaluate your intentions and get rid of the ads then look at promoting the content of this site as well as communicating with your audience; tell us what you do then show us how you do it.
