urgent help req..

hi,

I have to design a web site..related to babies cloth so how can i start..i can't get any idea

with some images of some baby clothes?

What was your brief from the client?

is it an online store?

the basic idea is that 2 main categories r placed "Boys" n "girls'.Other categories will be "Cloths".."Shoes"..etc.Its an online shopping for babies.All images r placed aside and user can drag an imag to drop it to the baby object so that he can choose wht ever he like..For example he chooses a shirt he drag it on to the baby object that is placed..n when that image is dropped the object will be in a position that he is wearing that shirt.

so how I can design it??

flash would seem the easiest option, however its an online store so flash maynot be the best idea.

you could prob use javascript....however again, javascript can be turned off with no fall back...

what they want is a very irregular idea...maybe not the most suited to an online store.

you could have it the user click a link and it loads the image into place....for example, click a pair of trousers, and u have a model baby on the right....the page loads with the baby with the trousers....split the baby into 4 sections (hat, top, trousers, shoes) and build it up l.ike a photofit...just not as sinister...

did that make sense?

I'd go with Flash too, but I suspect this may not be enough.
Is the site just being used for marketing? Or will they also be using it for online sales?
If the former, Flash will do just what you want it to and your only problem will be either a) doing it, or b) getting someone to do it for you.
If the latter, you will be building a large site and probably need a server-side database and hosting. If you know what I'm talking about, all well and good. If you don't, you're probably looking at farming the project out to someone who does, cuz it ain't somethin you can read from a book over a free weekend.
