Vanishing stylesheet

I noticed an error on one HTML page of my site, a "tilde" that needed to be done in the proper coding for special characters -- in this case, ñ. I opened the page, entered the correct coding and uploaded the corrected page.

When I called up the page, the letter appeared correctly...but all the CSS for that page was turned off. I never touched the CSS, but it's gone. The page acts as if there is no CSS assigned to it.

How do I fix this?

Re: Vanishing stylesheet

Code: Select all
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="ourtravels.css" />
It looks like it can't find the style sheet. When I try to find it in the browser it comes up file not found. Try uploading it to your host again.

Thanks for letting me know. That's a width issue on the box <div> and placement on the NAV box, which I'm trying to position as "fixed" in CSS. The box <div> is covering the NAV box. I need to make the box <div> widths consistent on all the pages; I'm hoping that will help.

When I look at the About Us page on my computer at home, the NAV box is clearly visible and where it's supposed to be. What OS/browser/monitor resolution are you using?

Re: Vanishing stylesheet

well, the page looks right now, it may have been tied into the css problem. I am using Firefox 2.0.0.4
