Please help with my Wordpress blog?

HI,

I have been at this problem for two days straight now. I am exhausted! I don't know web design, HTML. I just opened up a new website with Yahoo and I started a blog there. I am using Wordpress but I wanted to add the Chicklet Creator for the little subscription button.

However, I would like to also add new headings to the sidebar. One would be "Subscribe" and under that heading I would like to put the Chicklet Creator code given to me. I also would like to be able to edit this sidebar and take out stuff I don't want.

Can someone help me please! I have searched all over the internet. I found the sidebar editor plugin but it is not working. I did install and uploaded to my site and the plugin was in the options and presentation menu but when I changed things around in the sidebar editor menu, there were no changes to my site afterwards.

And I am not sure if I did the commenting out part correctly. Can someone also help me out here. How do I comment out for this sidebar editor?

Could you show the code you are editing or what you had to commment out. And a link to the plugin or the site you got it from would be helpful. Wordpress is quite well set up so I'm sure we can sort this out.

Hi sorry I didn't give more info. Here is the instructions:

• Upload seditor.php and se_files folder to your plugin directory.
• Upload sejs folder to wp-includes/js/ directory.
• Comment out “get_sidebar()” in your theme files and write “if(function_exists(”se_get_sidebar”)){se_get_side bar();}else{get_sidebar();}” instead.
• Go to plugin in your admin page and activate “Sidebar editor”.
• Links to plugin page will appear on the submenu of Presentation and Options.
