Re: MS Expression

I love it. It is so much better than Frontpage and the code it creates it compliant. The FTP is a bit slow but they are working on it.

Re: MS Expression

Corey does the code have things like font, font size, tables all through the code?
Or are you using it to hand code in?

Radiated if you are just starting out, why not learn to handcode? It's the best way.

Re: MS Expression

It uses CSS, since the <font> tag is deprecated. You can tell it to use inline styles or internal styles. But you can highlight the text and change it to a certain size / font just like Frontpage

Re: MS Expression

have recently been doing handcoding with text editor and im quite handy at it. just looking for alternatives and trying new things.

but yeah, haven't starting working yet and this industry looks extremely male-dominated, which is surprising because my course is like 40% females . and also theres quite a few freelancers on the site. is it better to work freelance or for an agency. and what do u think of the site? its supposed to be based for designers and developers but alot more can be done to it imo.

Re: MS Expression

Back to Expression....I downloaded and played with the Trial. Since I hand code now in an older version of Dreamweaver I am very spoiled. And I can't compare it to Frontpage cause I never used that one....On a scale of 1-10, I would probably give Expression maybe a 7ish. Supprisingly good considering they already gave us Frontpage which seems to make everyone cry.
