omg i hate my friggin step dad and his friggin "ADULT sites"!!

omg once agen some one has got right up my nose !! and as u probably gessed its my step dad... i hate his gutts couse he has messed my pc up more than it all ready is... he has no idea what the hell he is doin and he just clicks on anything that pops up on the internet ! and resently from being in bed all week coffin my lungs up and tryin to keep my head from exploding if found out that hes bin goin on "ADULT" sites ! i mean come on WTF!! anyway... hes downloaded a s*** load of viruses and trojans and all sorts and my favorite desktop icon ( being a topless woman !! ) VEIW LIVE SHOWS AT ONLY $15 PER HOUR!!! thats like £7.50! anyway ill get to the point now couse im starting to bore myself ....

does anyone know were to get a child filter or a download bloker from for free? thats legal i dont want no illegal cr** on my pc iv got enuff of that allready ( being the hole adult thing that is ) anyway tell me if u no any and i might actualy be happy for once in my missruble life lol

Well if you are using a router you can just change your outgoing DNS to filter out porn. Fool proof unless he hack your password. First I would start by cleaning up that PC.

Download Spybot S&D and scan the computer. Then Download AVG and scan the computer again with that. After that you should be good to go. Then filter out the porn by changing your outgoing DNS ports. I recommend ScrubIT.

im formatting thehole pc im gona start from scratch and only make one account on it and he will have to ask me for the password... and if he complains ill set dans rabbits on him!! its my pc anyways i got it with my own money but ill try that and see what happens and he wont be able to hak it he has trouble typing in his own name it take him like 3 days to find the "A" lol

There's a dutch program called Hitman Pro. Works excellent against spyware. What it dows is download trialversions of programs like Spybot, Adaware, Nod32 etc. and runs then automatically with the right settings.. Pcclean guaranteed!

Ok, here is the perfect thing for keeping people off of adult websites... It's called K9 web protection and it is free to use. You have to allow some sites (like webforumz) but mostly it does a great job. I have had to use it on my pc to keep my lil bro from looking at "Adult Content" and so far so good. Been using it for about 4 months and never had a single problem. Well, except for the fact my little bro is mad, lol.

Yuck Norton Sucks! Here's why!

Let's say, I am a hacker and want to build a virus that does something evil! Well first thing I am going to do is build that virus around the protection everyone is using, so that would be Norton, McAfee...etc. This is not really all that complicated to do, not that I would know or anything...lol.

Just FYI! I like Zone Alarm's triple layer firewall. It's free and very good. As for virus protection, AVG Free is GREAT!

I posted a child filter so use it. About AVG, I love it, works way better than Norton and the only few viruses it doesn't find I get with my HackThis prog anyways, so not a big deal. But I have the free version and yeah, you gotta renew the stupid license every 6 months, but its still free.

Yeah I also use AVG Free, it is great! Oh and Spybot S&D to catch the rest!

Another way to stop him would be by putting a password on the bios screen (I think thats what it is called, the black screen that comes up when you first turn your PC on) and then pass wording XP with a different password... then he has to get past two passwords

only thing with that is that my mum uses the pc aswell so id have to tell her the passwords and then she will tell him them aswell couse she cant keep anything from him couse shes a nob sack lol but im formatting my pc at the week end when i find the cd's so its all good ill just make an acount for him and her then put passwords on everything then he can just buy some dvd's infact ill buy them for him....

Dave, Dave, Dave. As J said, spybot, can't go wrong. Good move on AVG no other worth looking at. Will be back on messenger soon though, oh and might finish the tutorial on that game some time soon, got bored when we were online together and never went back, I'm hooked!!

Speaking of free anti virus apps, I currently use Avast Free Home Edition. I have read that it's prone to giving false positives for certain trojans. After a bit of research the arguements seem pretty much 50/50.. anyone had any experience with it, or have opinions??
