Hello there

I set this website up about 6 weeks ago. It's a review site with a difference. All reviews are written by the public, and just about anything can be reviewed. I created it using Joomla.

I am interested in how easy you feel it is to use, how it looks visually and what you think of the overall idea, as well as any suggestions for improvements and search engine optimisation.

I also have a link exchange so feel free to add links to your own websites.

The site is:

http://www.thereviewsite.net

Many Thanks

Lee

Re: The Review Site

I like it. I wanted to set up something like this, but never got to it. I did create a "Shopreviews" on motorcycleshops in Holland.
What I'm trying to say is: I like the idea.. could be one of my own

Many thanks for that, appreciate it. What about navigation, visual effects etc?

Re: The Review Site

Hi Lee

I really like the look of the site, the colours work well, and the navigation is easy and clear.

You have a slight display problem in Opera, the left hand gray navigation column sticks out slightly to the left of the blue header, and the green bars ('Admin Announcements' etc) extend a bit beyond the right hand edge of the gray and so cover over a small part of the content on the main section. Did I explain that well enough? It all lines up fine in Safari and Firefox so I could see how it was supposed to be.

Oh no. That looks awful, thanks for that.

I'll have to see if I can work out whats causing it to repair it.

Thanks again

Lee

well, the categories in the sections, on the top-end of the page. I kindof "read over them". I didn't really see that there are more categories. Maybe you can accentuate them more..
The rest looks a-ok.

Ohyeah.. the animated favico-thing.. not my piece of cake..
