want to learn

hi, i have been designing for a few months now, i basically rip and create themes for websites, so i am pretty handy with css and php. however i have been told it is useful to know other languages, and as i want to go into full website installs and the 'job lot' i need to start learning the ones i dont know, i know bits of html but not enough to get me started, could someone please suggest a good place to start learning html

Yeh, html is about 10 time's easier to learn than PHP!

well its like java script, i dont know that but was told its easy, so now i just move on to html and java see how long it takes to learn lol

JavaScript isn't easy but is similar in many respects to PHP so you should find it too difficult to get started. I strongly recommend htmldog.com. It's awesome and is a great resource.
