Smile Is it possible to have different kinds of pages

Hello, im not that new to web design but I am sure not a pro yet. I was wondering if it's possible to have separate page types for a website? Such as one page will be .asp at the end and another will be .php for other reasons and then also have regular .html pages. Could you mix it up like that?

Sure it's possible but why the heck would you want that?!

How confusing to have some page use PHP others ASP?! Why not just use PHP OR ASP!?

Re: Is it possible to have different kinds of pages

Only reason I can see why someone would want to use both PHP and ASP is if they are using premade code. And since I know that you want to learn how to program I know you'll learn the coding and get us to help you with it so that all of your pages use one language and not multiple languages. Also, you can always save a page html page as an asp or php page, so I really don't see the point in the different extensions.
