Whats the best way to do this?

Hi all,

I want to add a donation page to my site, but it needs to show the average donation of all donations. I just can't figure out a good way of doing it. I would like to use paypal, but I don't think it would be possable to link a script to what people are paying via paypal. Any Ideas?

Cheers,

GC

I would say that paypal themselves may have some code for this. I would imagine you may need to have PHP script.

I would be interest to see what other members would say to this as i am interested in this as well.

No way of doing this with straight html. I'd post this question in the php forum. You are going to need some type of php in my opinion!

Re: Whats the best way to do this?

Yes this would be fairly easy to do with a server-side scripting language such as PHP!! You couldn't do it with just HTML. And oh btw you will need a database to store the values as they come in, but, again, not that difficult if you use the perfect marriage: PHP/MySQL.

Good luck...!!
