The web form would consist firstly of a log in form and then the main form which would get info from the db - say list all the Advice Requests in a list view. The user would then select an Advice Request from the top lst view and all its details would be displayed below together with say a text area where he could type in his Advice Response.

So, we would need security control for the log in, db access in order to display the information for the main form, and gui controls for displaying the information. I thought Flash could do this using a thin client and without the need for refreshes.

Also, at what stage would the web form become complex enough to warrant using Flash. What would I be looking for when deciding which application to use? What can Flash do that ASP cannot do, or does not do so well?

Thank you for your advice.

Kind regards,

PollyAnna
