Need help with Frames

hello there, right now I need to update a website, but I have a problem. The site is made inside frames and I need a image button that I am pressing which changes the url for bottom frame and also change the image that I just clicked on from the top frame so that it can show the user which page they are currently under. I am not sure this can be done in frames so I need some help thank you in advanced

I apologise in advance if this response is inadequate but here it goes. Yes, you can do it.

It has been a long time since I tried something like this but I believe you can do it with something like this:

<img name="button" src=......>

Then define the javascript up top (of the page) to change the image based on what page they just loaded.

You can probably find the source code anywhere for image swapping. And you should probably take the time to preload the button images. You may also need the javascript to determine which file "whereever.html" actually is if you are loading an array of pages from that same button.

Hope this helps.

Thank you RaptorRex, you are a lifesaver. Although what you said was not exactly what I was looking for, I searched image swapping on a search engine and found exactly what I was looking for. Now it is perfectly implemented onto the site. Thanks again.
