****SLIDE MENU HLEP********

Hello

I am writing regarding the sliding menu.

This might sound a bit silly to ask but i am doing a project and i was wandering how to insert text into the sliding menu. for example if the user clicks on a created button named "contact us" then the menu slides to the slide that has the contact us text.

Please help i have been trying everything to achive this but always fail. Please help

i have downloaded it and used it to try and recreated it. The problem is that the file on the website was meant to be for an image gallery so it does not allow text to be shown. i have tried to insert text into it but only the images keep appearing without the text. i have also tried to use external swfs. to make it work but it only picks up the images only but not the text.

Please help

Use Dynamic Text... Make sure you select Dynamic in the drop down menu on the options for your text. That should fix the problem. Otherwise it will just stay put.


I've created something very similar www.youarenotevenhere.com is the site. Again, there is no text but just make dynamic text and this will fix that. I have the .fla if you would like to borrow it I can post it for download.

I did it using actionscript, i'm sure that the other site did this as well. You can download the FLA by clicking here . Hope this helps.
