Template Designs Needed

I have an opportunity that I would like to involve several designers here in (if interested). I have been working on a website with a friend and they are looking to offer their members website templates for purchase.

Type of site: This site is a center for online gaming league managers.
Sport: Hockey (NHL)
Exposure: This site is frequented from managers worldwide.
Potential: High potential
Templates could be any of the following: Static, Flash, Flash w/ Static (basically anything). The templates do not have to be gaming related, they can just be templates without a theme geared toward anything like busines, etc... so nice, but plain so that the managers can edit the images to incorporate their own theme/name for the game and their league.

I have been asked to create a shopping cart on their site and add as many templates as I can. I do not have enough time to fill them up with what they need, so here is where everyone here comes in (I already okay'd this with them too). If anyone is interested I would like to have people here create templates (themed for this type of online game) and then sell them. I would split the earnings for each template 80(you)/20(me) with the template designer (payable via Paypal, monthly).

If any of this is confusing let me know, but this is a nice way for some people here to potentially make some quick money. As these templates can be purchased several times.

I was asked some excellent questions on another forum, which made me revise the original post and referral cut. That means the designer makes even more !

That depends on the contents of the template, I am supposing they will sell from $10-30 depending on the included elements.

50% is probably way too high, so I am very okay with a 20% (kickback/referral). If that works with everyone.

We will keep in contact via email, as I will be able to keep track of whose templates sell and how many.

Fee for work at the start? Not sure what you mean there, there are no charges to cusomize them (the league managers will do that).

They are for a website that is not 100% launched yet, but is http://www.the-neutral-zone.net .

As far as when will the templates go live, as soon as they are completed. As the site is ready to 'officially' launch.

Sorry for the confusion, they are looking to add a few things that might affect the ability for easy template importing.

I know I'm just a rooky at this but, for interest sake, I just googled "free web design template".
I got 10 pages worth of sites offering free design templates (without looking to see how many there actually were in total).

Yeah there are many, many free templates. The problem with most is you do not have 100% control, or you have some limitations.

They also could not use those templates especially if they put them up for sale, as that would likely break the 'free template' agreement, you agree to when downloading them.

If you can work with those limitations, then I recommend using a free template, if not design one or find a designer.

Have you looked at the search results? Lol, Just do it some Saturday afteronoon, you'll get a laugh. All but 1 link on the first 10 results pages are horrid looking Free Templates. Don't think I have ever seen a good Free Template before, since most "Free" templates are designed by amateurs.

you need the template with a good logo or without logo i mean with simple logo

Thank you for your interest, however at this time the project is on hold. The creators of the site might be going in a different direction than originally conceived. I will post a request similar to this one when I am ready to proceed again.
