You need to define a character set. I think UTF-8 supports Chinese, doesn't it.

Add this into your head:

I have already tried by using both UTF 8 and 16. But the Japanese characters are working with UTF16 only i dont know why the chinese is not working, the japanese link as below

Chinese is UTF-16

Hmmm ... yeah ... UTF-16 should work for all Eastern Asian languages like Chinese and Japanese.

Keep in mind IE doesnt always show them - always test in FF or Opera

That will be why - IE6 doesn't show a lot of symbols for some reason
