text size problems

It important for my website that visitors' browser settings dont change font size of my text. I'm fairly new to web design and completely new to CSS. I tried is using the method shown here http://www.codeproject.com/html/fixe...asp#xx332291xx but that didnt seem to work. How do is fix the text size on my site?

Thanks!
Aaron

i *think* that if you use point sizes then the broswer cant change it... ie use 12pt rather than just 12 or 12px etc....

px should technically be a fixed size.

However, it's not really a good idea to do this! People should be able to change the size of the text - if they have visual problems for example.

using px or pt font measurements will only FIX the size of the text in Internet Explorer. Opera and firefox will still impose their browser settings regardless of the measurement unit.

If you absolutely and positively NEED fixed size fonts and there is no way you are going to comprise then I'm afraid the ONLY solution is to save the text as an image!
