Unhappy Japanese characters

Dear All,

I want to upload one page which contains Japanese characters. The characters are not visible both in my system and web.

Help me pl

Have you got a link? . Without actually seeing the page its very had to tell you what is going wrong.

Can you see the Japanese text if you look at the source code?

You need to have the proper character encoding in the hed of your document

What MS word? Never open your code up in WORD that messes everything up! Try notepad or textpad, or Pspad, or dreamwever, heck even frontage...but please not word.

Hi,

Now it visible in my dreemweaver. I have used the following coding in the page

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=UTI-8">

but now when i browse the page it is not displaying. i have to right click on my page and then select Encoding -> Unicode (UTF-8) option. Then only it shows correctly. Is there any option to view without selecting the encoding.

Kindly let me know
