Unsure what do you guys think?

Just wanted to get your opinion on this flash intro. I have linked it to www.lightex.co.uk just to check link. In two opinions on it.

I liked it. Good flow. Initially wasn't to kean on background color but realized it definately fit. You should be proud.

Thank you, has taken a lot out of my delete button to get this far. Do you think it needs more or will that wake it too long?

As the flash intro, are you referring to the video on the first link?

That is for you to decide. Personally I like it just the way it is.

1. Does it say what I want it to say?
2. Step back and look at it as if it is the first time you have seen it.

Ahh, never mind I clicked the second link. I am going to be 100% serious here, keep in mind flash is my specialty.

1. When the word "Design" falls it stops at the bottom of the stage, but just before that the word "Creation" fell right though the stage. Design either needs to fall though, or creation needs to stop. I would go ahead and have design tween off!

2. Next the Refresh part. The blur on that was just too slow. If you want to do a blur...make it FAST!

3. When the photography bit comes in to play, your animation is not covering up each letter...looks weird.

4. I am not really sure what the point of the "your" going around the "0" is? But it is not going around the 0 to great, you should look into having the object be more precise...it seems to be changing it position as it goes around...kinda weird.

5. The "Click Here to Enter" arrow needs to be a different color. Purple and yellow? You have not used or integrated purple up to that point. Try another color...like Black!


6. This animation needs SOUND. Flash is something intros are used for a lot. If you are going to use flash…then get some sound in there.

Other then those few minor things...looks GREAT!

Ok posted wrong flash file sorry. It is the same just edited different. Will do a few of Mr Haug's suggestions and repost for a critical response!!!!!!!!

I sure hope no offense was taken. This is the reason I avoid the website critique forum, I am brutal sometimes...even more so if it is flash.

Jacob, if I was to get offended the last thing I would do was post it in a forum. Thats just an open invite. Don't understand why you'd get offended when people do that as long as it's constructive rather than, you get my point. In short no I'm not offended I agree with your points. On that matter, where is the best pace to get royalty free music that does not sound sh~#.

WOW!! I have no words to express my joy. I am sure there are some improvements to be made...but WOW!! That is like 500 times better then the first...GREAT JOB!!

I will take a look at it and see if I can think of any comments...but dang, the sound and everything...just WORKED!

I like the little guy at the beginning - he's cool. It's good, I like it and it's loads better with music.

Thanks guys, am pleased with this one. If anyone has any negative points please feel free to raise them. Have got to work on a logo and name now, might take longer than this flash, tho can't see how as that flash took an age, special the little man, surprised I'm still engaged!!

Jacob, I think you would be impressed with my stage as there are no lingering images hiding off stage and all the layers are named. I'm learning to loose my bad habits, sort of!!!!!!!

I like it! Especially the first part with the dude. I think the text needs to flash (no pun intended) a little faster. It seems a bit slow.

I'm waiting for Jacob to do his norm and contradict your comment!!!!! But confused what flashing text, or do you mean the text in general. Does it need to be on the stage for a shorter period of time?

Yeah, I think the text is there too long. You want to promote the concept of fast moving technology and work. Make things smooth and fast, but still readable.
