It's not a 2advanced site, it's on 2advanced.net hosting.

Billy Bussey is a fairly well known Flash designer. His site is fairly cool, but he's in a completly different league! Most of the art you saw on that site took days/months to make, so please don't ask questions about how stuff was done!!

The background - I can only guess. He's built up a lot of layers to give the actual background. Some of the images are blurred, others are in focus, most of the colours are tweaked. Over this he's drawn a load of shapes and faded them out - it's basically that simple, but you can imagine how long it would take?

As for the 3D... don't even go there!

Ok, now onto images and small size - they add up to way over 100kb, so I don't think they're that small... you're just getting used to broadband ;-).

The Flash movie has been exported from 3DMax as a series of JPGs. This makes it fairly heavy on your processor and gives it a large file size, but produces a very smooth movie.
