please help me! vveery new to webdesign
hi im having a major problem (its bugging me soo much) .. im using dreamweaver to upload a site on http://khaydon.5gbfree.com
im just puttin on some pics from my hols, so i can put them on my myspace blog, but the only way its showing the pics on the blog, is if i click on the picture (on the website) first. its hard to explain! ... this is my index page, probably all wrong!

Hey i checked it maybe your using more than "8000" Characters also will check again later but theres a problem with the blog page cause when i try and use your code it says Sorry unexpected error and it sends it to the myspace technical group so in few hours i will use your code again cause i know how to do it ok how you want it
 also you will need to uplaod all your pictures to the blog in a new page or something then use that url in your Code because reason i say that is because when you use the url in your Html code it will not work as you want cause as your usin my space blog and using blog to uplaod your code when you save it its trying to use the Blog url for your images which will not work if there not uplaoded to that URL Thanks Aaron Last edited by Aaron1988; Mar 29th, 2007 at 13:48.

hi thanks for the quick reply, really appreciate it, i think it would have been easy to explain if i do the blog, then link you to it , http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...p=1&indicate=1
now if you go there then it'll just show you little icons, no pictures, but if you go to http://khaydon.5gbfree.com/ and you click on some of the pictures before hand, then it will show on the blog, im using Firefox, but ive already tried it in IE, ive also tried it on a friends PC and the same happens, the only way to view is to go on the source website first. Does anybody no what i should!?? Thanks a lot Kevin

Hey i know the problem ok the image URLS are wrong and bit of code lol so give me few minutes i redo the code for you ok so if you dont mind i will resave the images and uplaod them to somethnig called Photobucketf or you ok

Hey Mate well i had to go out i tell you the problem well look at this line
".... . border="0" src="thumbnails/SNC12484_JPG_jpg_jpg.jpg" alt="" /></a> </td> " the code is wrong it should be <tr valign="bottom"> <td align="center"><a href="http://www.webforumz.com/images/SNC12484_JPG_jpg_jpg.jpg"><img border="0" src="thumbnails/SNC12484_JPG_jpg_jpg.jpg" alt="" /></a> </td> also the image URLS are completely wrong cause when you type the URL of the image it doesnt show so check that and then also for the Thumbnail images check URL for those too and if you get stuck PM me and i will help you Thanks Aaron Last edited by Aaron1988; Mar 30th, 2007 at 13:20.

yes back on the tiopic i am back now so if or when he coems online should be done i will do it now for him the code but then he will have to change the URLS to his but alli say now is that the URLS he is using now are INCORRECT casue when you try view image with URL doesnt seem to work says Page Cannot be displayed which it shouldnt if the images are in that DIRECTORY
